YKG were appointed to design and build a prestigious detached flat in the heart of Wimbledon Park, overlooking the common.
The design includes a full 1600sqf loft conversion with a private roof terrace and the creation of two additional master bedrooms, media room and study rooms. The lead design concept revolved around a luxurious oversized chandelier with transcends through the second floor into the first creating a unique and inspiring focal point.
We designed grand curved double doors in the hallway, mirrored ceilings and recessed lighting. All combined to create a space which exuded luxury and grandiose – exactly what the client requested.
Our design stemmed from the need to gain the maximum floor space possible. Knowing that space in London is very valuable, our designers carefully planned in creating a roof terrace which maximised the floor area yet did not increase the overlooking into neighbouring surroundings. For planning purposes we utilised natural woods for cladding the walls and floors resulting in the desirable aesthetics approved by planning and making our client happy and satisfied.
